Fishing Report 14 August 2007

Glenmore Trail - 22X
Summer brisk in the AM with just a little cloud cover and a
steady river wind, the day started out with a hint of the fortune
to come. A rainbow hit the SJW on a dropper not long after
putting in but that was the only one on the worm. Three more
fish when I switched the dropper to a prince's nymph. The best
fish was a trophy brown, 20+ inches, thick and full. After catching
and releasing him, I took out early and smiled all day. No fish
along the banks, they were toward the river middle. Seven year
old Noah was my companion and he knows from study how
to catch a fish. Watching carefully, his interest intent, I delight in
his belief that fish this size are to be expected.

On the river 9 AM - 2 PM.
