Songs of the Spirit Wolf

Saint Peter's Gate

G D C G
{G6add9 D C6add9 G6add9}
Verse
When I go on down and see.
Does the Devil have a hold on me?
He'll say, "Your word is true.
Saint Peter has the claim on you."

This life of mine took many turns.
And all the way, you walked the line.
What would I be without your hand?
Three foot high, salt and sand.

chorus G Am G Am C G
Though we can't be
where we can't be.
And we can't see
what we can't see.
Your love...
is in my memory.

You don't want to see me, in your state.
The windows wane; the dreams come deep.
How much weight can one man stand?
Sixteen tons, steel and stone.

In a fortnights space, I'm homeward bound.
You know you'll always be, ten foot tall.
One day you'll rest, and then you'll sleep.
But don't go yet, to Saint Peter's Gate.

Though we can't be
where we can't be.
And we can't see
what we can't see.
Your love...
is in my memory.

Outro G Am G Am C G
One day you'll rest, and then you'll sleep.
But don't go yet, to Saint Peter's Gate.
One day you'll rest, and then you'll sleep.
But don't go yet, at Saint Peter's Gate.

Pacahuara

Verse
Cut my teeth at the Riverside.
Turned 18 and the Mountains called my name.
I've seen Lightening strike from a clear blue sky,
felt the sparks ignite my soul on Fire.
Life in the City can push my spirit down,
but the Fire breathes back energy.

Chorus
Hopeless hearts and Destinies.
Get my love from memories.
What will I become,
When all is said and done?

Verse
Got my boots in Calgary,
and I walked the miles away.
Ten years in Foreign Lands,
and I learned one lesson well.
Yeah, the world is a diversified place,
but people, people we're all the same.

Chorus
Hopeless hearts and Destinies.
Get our love from memories.
What will we become,
When all is said and done?

Bridge
They say Time is pulled by Gravity.
Like our thoughts, we’re pulled by Yesterdays.
We need a more Holistic way.
Tomorrow … where the Children Play.

Verse
Yeah, I came back home one day,
and I heard you call my name.
Now, I've seen the way you look at me…
Can your dreams push the darkness down?
What you don’t see in the light of day...
The Fire will take your breath away.

Chorus
Hopeless hearts and
Destinies.
Get our love from memories.
What will you (me) become,
When all is said and done?

Forest Poem

I'll sing an earthen song

All the only all night long

Listen, hear, meet the cadence

Close your eyes, remember

There’s a calling in the air

All the only all night long

The forest holds in secret

A gift of white bestowed

Blackness throws its shadow

All the only all night long

The shadow tells a story

A tale of myth and rife

The lightness hears it calling

All the only all day long

The forest holds the answer

In whiteness love will grow

A tree may touch the meadow

All the only all day long

A blade of grass won’t tell you

An answer from the grove

Destruction, falling

All the only all night long

The forest calls out softly

The white, the wolf, she knows

I'll sing an earthen song

All the only all day long

Of black as black as snow

Open your eyes, believe

A whisper in your ear

All the only all day long

The forest holds my sorrow

The gift of white must know

Selene

The Goddess smiled

At the edge of night

She gave a sigh

To the morning light

Yesterday,

When the sun rose higher

She looked away

Oh, I wondered why

She appeals and mystifies

She hides from the deep blue sky

And I'll say, "Hi"

When she walks on by

I'd walk ten miles

To the edge of sight

To see her shine

And be her acolyte

The day declined

And the moon rose higher

With stars arrayed

her luster amplified

She appeals and mystifies

She hides from the deep blue sky

And I'll say, "Hi"

When she walks on by

When worlds collide

So the sparks ignite

In love resides

The key to afterlife

Corporeal man

Says, "I do decry"

And I looked away

Oh, I wonder why

She appeals and mystifies

She hides from the deep blue sky

And I'll say, “Hi”

When she walks on by

Forty Foot Down

Well the Northern Lights
The Fire and Snow
When the Midnight Sun
Lies Down Below

And on a Cloudless Night
The Stars don’t Shine

Forty Foot Down
There ain’t no Stars around

Well the Northern Heights
The Pyre and Throe
When Alberta's Son
Sees the Afterglow

And in the Tessellate Light
The Stars don’t Shine

Forty Foot Down
There ain’t no Stars around

Yeah the Northern Sights
The Spire and Floe
When the
Midnight Sun
Lies Down Below

And in the Tessellate Light
The Stars don’t Shine

Forty Foot Down
There ain’t no Stars around

Forty Foot Down
Forty Foot Down
Forty Foot Down
There ain’t no Stars around

Irish Fairyland

Fantasy is like a melody

And when the daylight breaks

The dream awaits

I saw you standing there

With your hair down straight

Dew and lace, an Angel's grace

When I woke up this morning

I was dreaming of you

In the night, all in White

History is just a memory

And when the daylight breaks

The dream abates

Makes me wish I would

have kissed you then

A time and place, an Angel's face

When I woke up this morning

I was dreaming of you.

Dressed in light, in the night.

Reverie, dream what love can be

And while the daylight waits

There's no debate

Analogies, reciprocities

Thoughts progress

Desire undressed.

When I woke up this morning

I was dreaming of you.

In the night, in the night.

The Warm Wind Blows

Vestral lines of prose

With, the warm wind blows

She sees the young ones grow

And knows that they must go

Words spoken in the wind

Lines through time turn thin

She sees the world within

And knows what love has been

Hear the warm wind blow

Hear the warm wind blow

Everybody knows

When, the warm wind blows

River field and tree

The child upon my knee

December waits for me

The wind will set us free

Hear the warm wind blow

Hear the warm wind blow

Everybody knows

When, the warm wind blows

The seasons fall and flow

While, the warm wind blows

She dreams the time turn slow

And dances through the snow

Restless Nights

Restless days

And Sleepless Nights

A Wandering Soul

An Angel’s Height

The Day will Come

To see it Right

The Night will Pass

Into the Light

Fortune Smiles

On a Wayward Child

The Windward Son

Fiery and Wild

The Pressing Wind

Ahh, Breath Confines

Earth and Dust

Love and Chance are Blind

Deeper than the Sea

What can’t you Be?

Wiccan Fire and Tree

Ahh it’s You and Me

Midnight Moon and Lore

Standing by the Shore

Through the Open Door

Take Flight and Soar

Restless days

And Sleepless Nights

A Wandering Soul

An Angel’s Flight
