Mr. Stewart commenced his career in Surveying in 1978 by article as a conventional surveyor based out of Grande Cache, Alberta and has worked in the Seismic Surveying field full time since then, working on projects throughout Canada, United States, Jordan, Venezuela, Bolivia, Argentina and the Arctic. Associated with GPS since it's inception, Mr. Stewart has seen GPS evolve from only a handful of scientific users to its current global use.
"While it's true that FOOT & CHAIN are both units of measure, and I will sometimes explain that with a smile, I believe that Procedure and Due Diligence are the foundations necessary for a safe, productive operation and this is the meaning behind our name."
Stephen is a father, guitar player, singer-songwriter, bugle player, storyteller, a Master ranked billiards player, professional fisherman and river guide.
