Fishing report 10 Oct. 2006

Glenmore Trail - 22X
Almost skunked in the AM with only 1 small brown caught.
The fishing picked up mid-afternoon with nymphs. Mostly small
browns but this section finally gave up a couple of rainbows for me.
Caught fish on pheasant tails and hare's ear nymphs.
Cool, pleasant day with just a little wind to trouble a cast.

On the river 9:00AM-4:00PM.

"Fly-fishing is solitary, contemplative, misanthropic, scientific in some hands,
poetic in others, and laced with conflicting aesthetic considerations. It is not
even clear if catching fish is actually the point."
