Fishing Report 13 May 2008

Whilst nymphing deeply I sure missed many fish and wonder that the fish's
reaction time in spitting out the fly becomes faster  with each passing year.
This fast fish phenomenon began about year #45 and it startles me their
apparent wisdom in defeating me. Now where did I put those glasses again?
Not all were so wise, though, and nymphed 2 rainbows plus a brown using
SJW and a green copper john. Streamer fishing a black wooly worm took
the nicest fish of the day, a striking 22 inch brown hog. Surface water temp
9°C. A hatch of midges and green mayflies but no rising activity all day.

On the river 9 AM - 4:30 PM.
