Fishing Report 04 September 2008

Glenmore Trail - Policeman's Flats
Started running into fish about 45 minutes into the float with a 20 inch healthy brown.
All of the fish caught were healthy, including a tiny 3 inch fry with a liking for copper
johns. That and a prince's nymph accounted for all of the fish but one that was took
a black wooly worm. About 10 fish caught, 6 or 7 of them browns, one whitefish, 3
or 4 rainbows and more lost than caught. The fish were spread out; along the banks
but out in the river main as well. Clear water and low, but swift. The mayflies that were
waiting beneath the rocks in the morning clouded the air by the banks in the afternoon
and a very few fish started on the rise after that. Quiet day on the river with plenty to
enjoy.

On the river 9 AM - 4:00 PM.

Water Temp (surface) =  13°C, (56°F)
