Fishing Report 02 October 2007

Glenmore Trail - Policeman's Flats
Slow fishing the first hour and after that it was very good. 3 Browns, a
whitefish, and lost count on the rainbows. Best fish was an 18" brown.
Became very very windy in the afternoon and just canoed for the last
hour for the wind kept blowing me to the East side. A good day for
nymphing and not for casting. Westward anyhow. Dusty water. A
hare's ear took the first rainbow and a copper john took the 18"
brown. After that I put on a double rig of SJW's, which hadn't been
working well lately, and the fish struck it many times.

Spotted Wile-E always looking for an easy meal when passing Carburn
Park. You can never fully tame the wild, only breed it away through the pups.

On the river 9 AM - 3:00 PM.
