Fishing Report 14 October 2008

Glenmore Trail - Fish Creek Park
Cool in the morning but it was so nice in the afternoon and I so enjoyed and appreciated this,
the last of the summer weather, that I stayed and fished from shore after reaching the launch.
Several fish caught. The best fight I had was when I hooked a 17 inch rainbow through the
tail. The whitefish were biting and I caught some large fat ones again this week. Only the one
brown but several rainbows. Nymphed 90% of the time. Streamer fished the nymph rig at times
and drew a couple of fish, including a long distance release of a large rainbow fishing that way.
Fish were out away from the bankside. Flies used that caught fish; SJW, copper john, prince's
nymph.

On the river 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Water Temp (surface) =  7°C, (45°F)
