Fishing Report 16 October 2007

Glenmore Trail - Policeman's Flats
Cloudy but warm today, maybe the last warm day for the season as I was
breaking ice from the rod guides this time last year. A copper john on a dropper
near the surface made for an exciting duel with a 19" rainbow and all browns
were taken nymphing. I used a green sno-cone as the top fly on a weighted
nymph rig, a green crominid as the tail fly, and the sno-cone drew the fish.
4 browns, 4 rainbows, a great day out. The rainbows are at top fighting strength
now after the bounty of summer.

On the river 9 AM - 3:00 PM.
