Hi Aaron.
I was on the river yesterday and it was fishing well. Looking forward to our run this Friday! Attached a couple of pics of the boats we use.

For 1 person we generally run the canoe. You can occupy either the centre padded seat, the forward raised paddling seat or switch between them on a landing.

For 2 persons we use a drift boat.

There are advantages to either system.
The canoe is stealth quiet and highly maneuverable. The ride itself close on the water is very relaxing.
The drift boat has pedestal seats, casting platforms, is super stable and comfortable.

The weather can change quickly on the river.
Please bring:
Fishing License
Rain gear
warm clothing (layers are best)
sunglasses (polarized if possible)
camera
hat

We will have some rain gear and extra clothing on board as well.
Lunch, soft drinks and snacks are provided.
Deli submarine sandwiches and usually a salad for lunch or whenever you wish to eat.
Please let me know any food allergies or preferences.

Itinerary
Calgary home shuttle at 8:30 AM is included. You wanted to meet at the launch?
A safety and orientation meeting is held on site at the launch.
Return at about 5-6 PM.

I'll have a quality digital camera along and will be creating a photo log
for you as well.

The canoe ride is memorable in itself.

Thanks again very much Stephen.

It was a great day for sure. One I won't soon forget. Lots to learn.

Comparing my trip last month on a big fishing boat in Minnewanka to yesterday I can really get a sense of how much work goes into providing a quality Bow river experience. You worked your tail off getting me across the river and back dozens of times and only got to fish the one time. I promise the next time we head out I will set aside a few more hours and we will get some fish on your line too.

The pictures look great and I have one or two I have to get to you too!

Cheers

Aaron
